Video: Objectified

Industrial design is all around us, in our everyday activities, it shapes our life and life style. So many of us feel like we are not a part of this whole trendy fresh new design world. Come correct and realize that everything you own, wear, and interact with is designed for you and specifically for you and with your thoughts, desires, and requirements taken into consideration, in fact shaping the very idea of the product or interaction.

Director Gary Hustwit, director of ‘Helvetica’ has done it again and dropped another banger with the film ‘Objectified’ which looks at designers and the s they design. For those of you who are up on the design world, I am sure you had the chance to check out this documentary last night on Independent Lens. For those of you who think you have nothing to do with the design world, take a look at this film.
