Kanye named one of Rolling Stone’s “Artists of the Decade”

Say what you want, but this is WELL DESERVED. I fear that we often make the mistake of allowing public persona to effect our judgement of artistic prowess. Kanye West is a perfect example. If y’all can forgive Michael Jackson, R. Kelly and Kobe Bryant, then I think Ye’ deserves another shot at the crown. Either way he’s going to take it, so you might as well get on board. Without Yeezy… Jay would still be a “gangsta rapper”, baggy jeans would still be cool (eeewww) and 50 Cent would likely be the king of Hip Hop. I wouldn’t be surprised if over the next 10 years Kanye proves himself the most influential Hip Hop musician of all time (yeah I said it)… Congrats Ye… keep the art coming… and YES… I’m a KANYE FAN… so fuck what YOU think!
