Toys: Carhartt X Vestax – Handy Trax

Many people only know Carhartt for their work wear but there is a whole other side to the company. Around 2000/2001 Carhartt Streetwear dropped in Europe and Japan. the brand blew up and now outsells Stussy and Volcom in Japan. It is unfortunate that they haven’t released the street wear line here in the states. It is most likely due prevent conflict with their long-standing reputable work wear!

Carhartt hooked up with Vestax to put out their version of the Handy Trax. It is pretty much the Handy Trax USB with the Carhartt Logo, it actually looks a lot better with the Carhartt Logo then the Vestax USB logo.
I have been telling people for the past four years that vinyl is coming back in a big way. No one seems to think it will ever happen but over the past year I have been seeing a lot of new technology being incorporated into turntable design to make records compatible with our new school technology. It is so apparent that the sound you get from a record can never be replaced by a digital sound file.

I am so familiar with the brand because they have been sponsoring the best BMXer from Europe for the past 6 years and one of my good friends Paddy Gross.
