SLik d – Midnight Vibes (free album)

This week has somehow turned out to be DOPE ASS hip hop week… Midnight Vibes is the latest full length effort from California MC SLik d and it’s a MUST DOWNLOAD at it’s retail price $free. SLik has a delivery and sound reminiscent of hip hop soul legend Q-Tip, but the comparison is short lived as Midnight Vibes proves itself to be the work of an original. Breakbeats chopped between tinges of jazz infused, electro melodies lay the backbone for SLik d’s smooth and sometimes crooning delivery. From start to finish you will find yourself rapping along with and humming to this album. Very, very sweet dude. Check it:
