My pal from Letter to Jane has recently fueled my obsession with No Age. Their latest single “Glitter” has been out for a little while, but that doesn’t detract from it’s sheer awesomeness. You can find “Glitter” on No Age’s forthcoming album Everything In Between, which is set to drop on September 28th. Very sweet dude:

Nike x Jordan Brand x Converse Hybrid Shoe

one of the events leading up to the world basketball festival was the make something! workshop, where children from the local communities were given a chance to participate in art workshops and try their hand at designing some custom kicks.

one of the creations that came out of this event was the ultimate brand mash-up: a nike x jordan brand x converse hybrid model. taking some cues from the hyperdunk 2010, you can see the jordan influence in the form of a jumpman logo on the top strap, with a little converse hit on the back heel.

Simply put, this is a classic record. I might be wrong, but I have a feeling that Cee Lo Green might win a Grammy for his latest effort, “Fuck You”. It’s impossible to keep yourself from singing along to this tune…. Props to Pigeons and Planes… Check it:

ahh, sweet dude’s own dekk teams up with pdx rapper/singer illaj to drop their album, free of charge and full of funky music that will have you struggling to classify it.

but don’t even try; hip-hop, pop, electro-synth, indie rock and much more all come together with songs that make me think i’m listening to some 80s throwback shit, and other tracks that sound like they are straight from 3030 (no deltron).

got a healthy p-rod update for all the sb heads out there. for those of you in ny, paul will be at rucker park to celebrate the launch of his 4th signature shoe along with a gang of other nikesb athletes, including eric koston.

Ra Ra Riot – The Orchard (full album preview)

Thanks to NPR you can now stream Ra Ra Riot’s entire forthcoming LP, The Orchard, for free! On first listen it’s quite apparent that Ra Ra Riot are poised for crossover pop-appeal, much like the indie success stories mapped out by Vampire Weekend and Arcade Fire. I don’t want to give a premature review, so I’m just going to direct you to the link for now. The Orchard will be available for retail on August 24th.. Very sweet stuff indeed! Enjoy:
